Where Faith and the Record of Nature Unite
We are a Non-denominational Bible Website that supports the Body of Christ (all Christians who have faith in the Grace found in the Lord Jesus Christ) and anyone seeking (and skeptics) information on this faith. We hold to the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed, also the International Council on Biblical Inerrancy and Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy (pdf).
(We do not have an email list, and we do NOT sell emails. We do not sell anything or ask for any donations. Question or feedback, see contact page)
Purpose: Demonstrate the gospel of Grace and Glory revealed in the Record of Nature. The Bible teaches a rational faith, based upon knowledge and refined through testing. Christians are encouraged to use their minds in all aspects of life, including our spiritual life - prayer and worship. God wants all people to come to the knowledge of the truth of His salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, so that they may spend eternity with Him in the new creation.
If there is a paradox (that which seems to be contradictory) between the Bible (the error-free word of God) and the Record of Nature (God's perfect creation, which science is studying), more study of both the Bible (all 66 books) and the Record of Nature needs to be done to resolve the paradox.
Theology is the Study of the 66 Books of the Bible. (There have been errors in theology in the past, now, and most likely in the future)
Science is the study of the Record of Nature. (There have been errors in science in the past, now, and most likely in the future)
This site has some key Bible passages which are key to our understanding of the Bible and Nature:
2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
Romans 1:20: " For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God."
Psalm 19:1-4: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."
1 Timothy 2:3b-4 "God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."
Educators are important
Truth is important:
"Test all things; hold fast what is good."
