UFO Cults and UFO Occult

UFO cult or flying saucer cult or extraterrestrial cults have a core belief that the existence of UFOs and extraterrestrial (ET) entities are real. One of the goals in communication with them. These groups and individuals are rooted in science fiction books and movies. They are zealous for UFO sightings and alien abduction stories. While a mild fascination seems to have no or minor dangerous side effects, those that are deeper into UFO cults have a much higher rate of negative side effects. The line between reality and science fiction often becomes blurred, so logic and reality can, in extreme cases, erode or be completely gone.

The two UFO cults that show the extreme of UFO cults are: Marshall Applewhite's cult, Heaven's Gate, ending in San Diego, California, in which all members killed themselves, and the Order of the Solar Temple, which in the 1990s orchestrated mass murders and suicides, done by the UFO cult. UFO cults fuel distrust in government and science, promoting unfounded narratives that can lead to radicalization. Studies found that nightmares and vivid, dream-like hallucinations are central to the experience of many who report interactions with UFO cults or aliens. These experiences often blur the line between reality and dreams, causing intense, long-lasting fear, paranoia, and, in some cases, the creation of false memories. Many "abduction" reports are believed to be instances of sleep paralysis, where the individual is awake but unable to move, often hallucinating threatening figures. This can lead to feelings of extreme helplessness, terror, and, in some cases, physical pain. Individuals who experience these "alien visitation" dreams often report feeling "not the same" afterward, exhibiting paranoia and obsession with the subject.

Members might gain a better grasp of what’s realistic and unrealistic in terms of space travel. They would learn how to identify both the atmospheric phenomena and the celestial objects often misidentified as UFOs—noctilucent clouds, sun dogs, fireballs, Venus, the Pleiades, meteor showers, and the northern lights. People who’ve seen UFOs tend to become more susceptible to bizarre fantasies about alien life or to so-called New Age religions and philosophies. They develop serious doubts about whether or not the Bible tells the whole story—if they ever gave it any credence in the first place. Some even come to doubt their own sanity and withdraw from relationships in which their “secret” strange observation may leak out. As, often the alien messages are communicated through psychic experiences, particularly through “mediums,” by means of what today is referred to popularly as “channeling.” See New Age page.

So what about all the evidence for UFOs and aliens? Most UFO sightings can be explained by natural causes. A few have evidence of being real but defy the laws of physics, like an UFO making 90 turns at very high rate of speed and crash sites have been found (dent in the ground, with no debris). The Bible tells of beings that are real, yet are able to defy the laws of physics; they are called angels. Since alien contacts have always been detrimental, these must be fallen angels. It has been seen that if one is suffering from detrimental alien contact, by repenting and turning toward the Lord Jesus Christ, the aliens/UFOs detrimental effects go away.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve."

Colossians 1:13-14 "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

The other main problem with the UFO cults is that science has proven that we are alone. See the We are Alone Page
